Why the Dow is up again, but not by much: Investors
Investors are getting excited again.
Investors are seeing the Dow climb, but this time by a little more than 20 points.
The Dow rose 20 points or more each of the last three days.
It’s now trading at 1,826.21, a new high.
On Tuesday, the Dow jumped 605 points, or 4.7%, to 2,071.70.
The S&P 500 rose 2.9% to 2.5266, the Nasdaq gained 4.3% to 4,037, and the Russell 2000 gained 0.4% to 8,957.50.
The S&p is up a little bit since Wednesday.
They both rose by a single point, so the Dow has risen by nearly two-thirds of a percentage point.
